We often wait for Diwali with great excitement. I enjoy being pampered by my parents as well as grandparents. In amidst of all the chit chatter, the sweets and colourful lanterns, I and my sister have a mutual hobby of making Diwali greeting cards for our close family and friends. I once remember that we sat down to craft out some beautiful greeting cards for our close ones but the problem was we were short of words. We were so confused as the cards looked repetitive because of the similar Diwali greeting card messages. Then one of my friend who came to visit me in her Diwali vacations suggested me a great idea of copying all the WhatsApp and text messages and adding them in the list of Diwali greeting card messages.

Not only was everyone happy with this small token of love, but also everyone liked this unique idea of wishing Diwali with greeting card messages. These small efforts made everyone even more pleased as this brought a realisation and showed sense of belongingness in their eyes. How can a few Diwali greeting card messages glow up the hearts of people, I could see in their gratitude filled eyes. This was how me and my sister made our Diwali holidays worthwhile. It was both constructive and innovative. Each time we made out a unique card, we used to tease each other as to how my card is better than yours and how my brains work functionally more creative than yours. No doubt it was very childlike of us in the days of childhood, but these memories are what make us feel the true essence of beautiful early days of our life.
